Cause or Effect

How do you live your life? At Cause or Effect?  It is the unusual individual who always lives his or her life at cause; however, far too numerous of us live a large part of our lives at result – responding to the whims, desires or psychological states of others.  Living at effect means we are passive spectators as life unfolds around us.  Living at cause means we are actively driving our life forward.

Being at cause implies that you are definitive in developing exactly what you want in life and take duty for whatever you achieve. If things are not unfolding as you would like, you take action and explore other possibilities.  Effect is motivated and ready for action and responsibility.

If you are at result, you may blame others or circumstances for your bad state of minds, for what you have not accomplished or for the chaos of your life in general. You may feel helpless or depend on others in order for you to feel excellent about yourself or about life.  It’s when you know from your intuition that something is amiss, but you do not do anything about it.

Thinking that somebody else is responsible for your joy or your various moods is really restricting and offers this person magical powers over you, which can cause both you and the other individual a great deal of distress.  It’s at the core of cause or effect.

Being at cause means you have choices in your life – you can select what is finest for you while ensuring the choice is ecological for those around you, in your neighborhood and your society. That is, you consider the consequences of your actions on others, while not taking responsibility for their emotional well-being.  Again, this is deeply rooted in the definition of life coaching.  Thinking you are accountable for the emotional well-being of somebody else positions a heavy concern upon you and can trigger a good deal of tension.


Those who live their lives at effect/result frequently see themselves as victims with no options whatsoever. The truth is that they do have choices however have selected not to take action. They are just reactive to whatever is thrust upon them.  It ,measn they are very unlikely to live anything near exploring their own life purpose.

Emotions such as guilt, fear, anxiety and resentment are the result of being at impact. People at effect have the tendency to blame others and do not take duty for their actions. Emotions such as these can wear heavily on a person’s body and life, and can be the origin of numerous physical and individual issues.

Cause or Effect

Do I constantly live my life at cause? No, not a chance; the vast majority of the time I do live at cause.  I ask myself each day – before each decision – is this cause or effect?

Each early morning when you get up, you can either ask yourself, “I wonder what my day will bring,” or “What do I opt to give my day?” The option is yours, trust yourself and set your intention to follow your dreams.
